CTET Exam Overview
Hey there! So, there’s this thing called the CTET Exam that happens twice a year in July and December. It’s a test to see if people are eligible to teach in Primary (1 to 5) and Elementary (6 to 8) classes. The next CTET Exam is expected to be on 6th July 2025.
CTET Exam Details.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the official notification for the CTET Exam in April 2025. After that, people who want to take the exam can submit their application forms. The exam will be held in July 2025.
CTET Exam Date 2025
The CTET Exam for July 2025 is likely to be on 6th July. But the exact date will be confirmed soon on the official website. The exam has two papers – Paper I for teaching classes 1 to 5 and Paper II for teaching classes 6 to 8.
CTET July Exam Date 2025
If you want to teach in Central Government schools like NVS and KVS, you need to pass the CTET Exam. For general category candidates, you need to score 60% marks, while other categories need 55%. All the details about the exam will be on the CTET Admit Card.
CTET Exam Shift Timings.
The exam will be held in two shifts – morning and evening. The morning shift is from 9:30 am to 12 noon, and the evening shift is from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
CTET 2025 Exam Pattern.
For Paper I (Class I to V), there are five subjects with 30 questions each, totaling 150 marks. For Paper II (Class VI to VIII), there are four subjects with different weightages for each section.
