Out of 270 vacancies in Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation Limited (Sescom), there are 46 Scheduled Caste, 19 Scheduled Category, 119 General, 11 Category-1, 41 Category-2A, 11 Category-2-B, 10 Category-3A, and 13 Category-3B vacancies.
Out of the 39 backlog posts, there are Scheduled Caste 10, Scheduled Class 2, General 8, Category-1 2, Category-2A 7, Category-2-B 2, Category-3A 3, Category-3B 5 posts. It has been clarified that if the candidates with disabilities notified in the recruitment notification are not available, the post will be filled by the general candidates of the respective category.
Applying candidates must have passed SSLC or Class 10th (CBSE/ ICSE) examination from the educational institutions of Karnataka state. Apart from this qualification, any other parallel qualification will not be considered.
Clarified that SSLC/ 10th Class (Bridge Course) obtained from external or Open University or Open School will not be considered. Also, as on the last date fixed for receipt of applications, the candidates should have passed the educational qualification prescribed above and should have the mark sheet.
Candidates who have written the above prescribed educational qualification test and are awaiting the result on the last date fixed for receipt of applications, are not eligible to apply.
Candidates should have minimum age of 18 years as on the last date fixed for submission of application. Should not exceed the maximum age limit. Maximum age limit is 35 years for General Category, 38 years for Category 2A/ 2B/ 3A/ 3B, 40 years for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Category and Category-1 candidates.
Selected candidates will undergo training for a period of 3 years subject to certain conditions of recruitment and promotion regulations of Electricity Supply Companies. 17,000 per month in 1st year, 19,000 per month in 2nd year and 21,000 per month in 3rd year (excluding consolidated remuneration, no other allowances and facilities) during training period.
