Egg(ಮೊಟ್ಟೆ): ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅನುದಾನಿತ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ 6 ದಿನಗಳು ಮೊಟ್ಟೆ(Egg) ವಿತರಣೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಯೋಜನೆ ಜಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ, ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಗಿರುವ ಮೊಟ್ಟೆ(Egg) ಬೆಲೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಶಾಲಾ ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯರು ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟ ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸರ್ಕಾರ ನಿಗದಿಪಡಿಸಿದ ಅನುದಾನ ಸಾಲದಾಗಿದೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ, ಕೆಲವು ಶಾಲೆಗಳು ಮೊಟ್ಟೆಯ(Egg) ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣು ನೀಡುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಬೆಲೆ ಏರಿಕೆಗೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗಿ ಅನುದಾನ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವಂತೆ ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪೌಷ್ಟಿಕಾಂಶವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಸರ್ಕಾರ, ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅನುದಾನಿತ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ 6 ದಿನಗಳು ಮೊಟ್ಟೆ (egg) ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಯೋಜನೆಯಿಂದ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಖುಷಿಯಿಂದ ಮೊಟ್ಟೆ(Egg) ಸೇವಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ, ಆದರೆ ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯರಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಮೊಟ್ಟೆ ಖರೀದಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟ ಅನುಭವಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊಟ್ಟೆ ದರ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದ್ದರು ಕೂಡ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮಾತ್ರ ಅನುದಾನವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸದೇ ಇರುವುದು. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಮೊಟ್ಟೆ ಖರೀದಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯರ ತಲೆ ಬಿಸಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅನುದಾನಿತ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 1 ರಿಂದ 10ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಾಸಂಗ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಈ ಮೊದಲು ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ 2 ದಿನಗಳು ಮಾತ್ರ ಮೊಟ್ಟೆ(Egg)ಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಕಳೆದ ಕೆಲ ತಿಂಗಳಿಂದ ಅಜೀಂ ಪ್ರೇಮ್ ಜಿ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್, ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಜೊತೆ ಕೈಜೋಡಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಪ್ರಸುತ್ತ ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ 6 ದಿನಗಳು ಕೂಡ ಮೊಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಬಹುತೇಕ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮೊಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಖುಷಿ ಖುಷಿಯಿಂದ ತಿನ್ನುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮೊಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನದೇ ಇರುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣು ಅಥವಾ ಶೇಂಗಾ ಚೆಕ್ಕಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಮೊಟ್ಟೆ(Egg)ಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾರ ವಿರೋಧವು ಇಲ್ಲಾ. ಆದರೆ ಮೊಟ್ಟೆ ವಿತರಣೆ ಇದೀಗ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯರಿಗೆ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟವನ್ನು ತರುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಮೊಟ್ಟೆ ದರವೇ ಬೇರೆ. ಸರ್ಕಾರ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮೊಟ್ಟೆ ಬೆಲೆ ಬೇರೆ.
ಸರ್ಕಾರ 1 ಮೊಟ್ಟೆಗೆ 5 ರೂಪಾಯಿ 24 ಪೈಸೆ ನೀಡಿದರೆ, ಅದನ್ನು ಸುಲಿಯಲು ಮತ್ತು ಬೇಯಿಸಲು 80 ಪೈಸೆ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ಮೊಟ್ಟೆಗೆ 6 ರೂಪಾಯಿ. ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಇದು ಸಾಲದು ಅಂತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯರು.
ಸದ್ಯ ಮಾರುಕಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 1 ಮೊಟ್ಟೆ(Egg)ಯ ಬೆಲೆ 6 ರಿಂದ 6.50 ಪೈಸೆಗೆ ಸಿಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಅದನ್ನು ಬೇಯಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಸುಲಿಯುವ ಖರ್ಚು ಸೇರಿದರೆ 1 ಮೊಟ್ಟೆಗೆ 7ರಿಂದ 7.50 ಪೈಸೆ ಬೀಳುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರ 6 ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ನೀಡ್ತಿರೋದರಿಂದ, ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಮೊಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಖರೀದಿಸಿ ನೀಡಲು ತೊಂದರೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆಯಂತೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಕೊಪ್ಪಳ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಅನೇಕ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯರು, ಮೊಟ್ಟೆ(Egg) ಬೆಲೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವಂತೆ ಡಿಡಿಪಿಐ ಮೂಲಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಮನವಿಯನ್ನು ಮೇಲಿಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಲೆ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಇದುವರೆಗೂ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸಿಲ್ಲ.
ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆರು ದಿನ ಮೊಟ್ಟೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ನಾಲ್ಕು ದಿನ ಮಾತ್ರ ಮೊಟ್ಟೆ(Egg)ಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ, ಉಳಿದ ಎರಡು ದಿನ ಕೇವಲ ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣು ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮೊಟ್ಟೆಗೆ ಖರ್ಚು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣು ನೀಡಿ ಸರಿದೂಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಆರು ದಿನ ಮೊಟ್ಟೆ ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕು ಅನ್ನೋ ಕೆಲ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ನಿರಾಸೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಮೊಟ್ಟೆ(Egg)ಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಖುಷಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದ್ದರೆ, ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯರಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಹಣ ಸರಿದೂಗಿಸಲು ಪರದಾಡುವಂತಹ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏರಿಳಿತವಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಬೆಲೆಗೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗಿ ಮೊಟ್ಟೆ( Egg) ಖರೀದಿ ಅನುದಾನವನ್ನು ಕೂಡ ನೀಡುವ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಿದೆ.
